This pen captures the romance and adventure of old sailing ships. It has a captivating scene of a grand tall ship engraved on the tip, while the end is embellished with the captain's wheel and compass. Nautical rope accents can be found throughout and encircling the detailed anchor clip, all finished in antique pewter. All the little laser inlay puzzle parts, making up the wood body of this pen, and also depicting a tall mast sailing ship, are assembled, glued, turned and polished all by hand. Polished and buffed to a soft warm finish, this awesome pen also comes in a black felt drawstring pouch, perfect for gift giving or just protecting your collection.

The included black ink cartridge is a Schmidt MegaLine P950M, Pressurized Parker Style Medium Ballpoint, able to write at any angle and in extreme hot and cold conditions.  This top-of-the-line cartridge uses a special thixotropic ink paste with a nearly unlimited shelf life, and is measured by the EWIMA, (European Writing Instrument Manufacturer's Association), to write up to 8000 meters.  (That's about 5 miles).
(NOTE: Red ink choices are currently only standard parker style - NOT 'zero gravity').
