Danbar Handmade Pens & Woodcraft was founded shortly after I read an article on 'Pen Turning'. Intrigued and optimistic, I set out on a mission to outfit my workshop with the equipment necessary to turn pens. Over time, and adding many more tools and equipment than first thought, I established a well-equipped home shop where I spend my time making pens, clocks, custom engravings, acrylic blanks for pens, and working on other projects. After some time, and trial and error, I found a passion -- beautiful, handmade, custom collectible writing instruments to proudly share with others.
 

     Using various pigments, I color, mix, pour, and cast almost all my own acrylic for my pens. On the very few occasions I don't pour my own acrylic, I always obtain the best materials available. I maintain meticulous attention to detail with a total commitment to perfection and customer satisfaction. My pens go through several stages of inspection and testing throughout the entire process of turning, shaping, sanding, polishing, assembly, and function.
